Ounce more:
For the following gliders you need to have a Service Agreement.

Increase of Service Time

If you need an extension of the life-span of your plane, you can acquire the corresponding test procedure  from us, which is valid for the specific sailplane only.

The time effort and the corresponding costs are not to be under-estimated and are necessary for the safety of the planes. That is the reason why we need to sell the life-extension test program. A Service Agreement is necessary and will give you a 50% rebate on the cost.

Please order your specific test procedure together with the type of plane, number of construction, call sign and the accumulated hours of flight at our Ms. Pfund:

An additional hint of one of our representatives from daily life:

Hallo Friedel,

In the attachments of technical notes (TMs) it is clearly stated that these technical notes has to be executed directly at the manufacturer or at a certified repair shop (this also holds for the TM concerning the Increasing of Service Time of DG gliders).
We observe an increase in self-performed 3000h inspections by the pilot themselves, and which make it worse, this in a very poorly way. We wonder, if the pilots are really that weary of life. After 3000h of confidential operation it is time for an exhaustive check of the plane, to be honest.
Could you please publish something in the web on this topic?
On the other hand how is the legal position due to renege on DG's specifications if something happens?

Our comment:

We have had similar experience and sometimes we are amazed. Why are there only little accidents with such badly maintained planes.
The legal position is unambiguous: Pilot and owner are responsible to maintain the plane in working order, and particularly the pilot himself for his own life....

Here some further hints:
